ANTI - PEEK PROTECTION
The 12-24 words that compose the recovery seed phrase are encoded in binary in Crypto Abacus, by design, making it extra difficult to read for intruders who might have access to peek the secret sequence.
It is more difficult to remember binary patterns than it is to retain a few English words.
DURABLE METAL MATERIAL
Crypto Abacus does not require any special tools to make the markings on the metal card. You can use any pen tip or similar hard puncturing element that you may have at your disposal.
Note: please be advised that the oil-based permanent marker provided in the box is not meant for removing the metal circles. The oil-based marker is ONLY meant to write the name of the associated crypto wallet or any other valid identifier on the back of the card, for your own reference.

Important: Don't use the oil-based pen provided for removing the metal circles.
This pen is meant only for writing the wallet's name.
WHY THE SEED WORDS ARE ENCODED IN BINARY?
This is because it has a patent pending feature called Anti Peek Protection that prevents non-authorized persons who may have short temporarily visual access to the card from remembering the sequences of 1s and 0s.
